O’Hara & Hunter Consulting is a team that provides statutory vocational rehabilitation and vocational evaluation services to injured workers within the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation system.
Alissa S. O'Hara began working as a QRC in 1998. She has owned and operated O'Hara & Hunter Consulting since 2001.
Alissa graduated with a Master of Science in the area of Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from St. Cloud State University in 1998. In 1997, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology from St. Cloud State University. She was a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society of counseling professionals and professionals-in-training dedicated to excellence in scholarship, research, and clinical practice.
Alissa is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Licensed Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC) in Minnesota. Alissa is also experienced with expert vocational evaluations in the areas of Long Term Disability (LTD), workers' compensation, personal injury, earning capacity, and lost earnings.
Alissa is a member of the Advising Committee for the St. Cloud State University Vocational Rehabilitation program and has presented information about private vocational rehabilitation to classes. Alissa acts as a supervisor to QRC Interns. She is a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Providers (MARP).
Alissa was appointed by the Commissioner of Labor and Industry to serve on the Rehabilitation Review Panel from 2006-2021.
Alissa and her husband have 3 children and 2 dogs. Alissa is an avid sports fan and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family at the cabin.
Angie R. Hunter began working for O'Hara & Hunter Consulting, Inc. in 2003 as a QRC, and became Alissa O’Hara’s business partner in 2010. She graduated with a Master of Science in the area of Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from St. Cloud State University in 2005. In 2002, Angie graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul. Angie is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), a Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE), and a Licensed Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC) in Minnesota. Angie is also a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Providers (MARP). Angie has extensive experience as a Vocational Expert, providing written reports and testimony in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Long Term Disability (LTD), general wage loss, Products Liability, Medical Device, and Termination cases. Angie serves on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit, Firefighters for Healing, offering assistance and support to those directly affected by burns and fire. In her free time, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband and two active kids, coaching and watching their sporting events.
Greta M. Bormann began working for O'Hara and Hunter Consulting, Inc. in 2011. Greta graduated with a Master of Science in the area of Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, Stout in 2011. She has her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of St Thomas, St. Paul. In 2012, Greta became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and fully licensed Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC). Greta is also a Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE). Greta is a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Providers (MARP). Greta is also a supervisor to QRC interns, and became the Managing Director at O’Hara and Hunter Consulting in 2019. Greta is also experienced with expert vocational evaluations in the areas of Long Term Disability, vocational rehabilitation, personal injury, earning capacity, lost earnings and divorce proceedings. In her spare time, Greta loves spending time with her extended family and her husband and their three young children. She has a passion for cooking and spending time outdoors in the Brainerd Lakes fishing, biking, and hiking.
Jenna L. Bieber began working at O'Hara & Hunter Consulting, Inc. in March 2013. She graduated with a Master of Science Degree in the area of Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from St. Cloud State University in December 2013. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Psychology from St. Cloud State University in 2011. Jenna is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Licensed Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC) in Minnesota. She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota, an international honor society of counseling professionals and professionals-in-training dedicated to excellence in scholarship, research, and clinical practice. In her free time, Jenna enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Corrine L. Morris began working for O'Hara and Hunter Consulting, Inc as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant Intern (QRC-I) in 2014 She graduated from St. Mary's University in the field of Surgical Technology in 2009. Corrine then graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in the area of Human Service and Psychology from Metropolitan State University in 2015. Corrine is a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) and following her internship became a fully licensed QRC the beginning of 2016. Corrine enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters by being outside, doing projects and cooking. Corrine and her family grow pumpkins every year that they donate at the end of the season. Corrine has done volunteer work at Mercy Hospital for the program NODA (No One Dies Alone) as a compassionate companion as well as volunteers with Homeward Bound Rescue.
Kathy Tuff has been working at O'Hara & Hunter Consulting, Inc. since 2016. Kathy has over 25 years experience working as a QRC. Kathy enjoys working with injured workers, providing individualized vocational counseling and guidance, medical management services, coordinating return to work efforts, assisting injured workers in securing new employment or acquiring new skills, and developing successful retraining plans. Kathy’s work experience also includes completing Independent Vocational Evaluations and providing expert testimony. Kathy graduated with a Master of Science in the area of Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from St. Cloud State University in 1994. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hamline University in 1992, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Psychology. Kathy is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and a Licensed Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC) in Minnesota. Kathy is a wife and mother of two children, and has both a cat and a dog. She is an avid sports fan. In her free time, she is a distance runner and has completed several marathons.
Dana Stangret began working for O’Hara & Hunter Consulting, Inc. in March 2017 as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant Intern, and became fully licensed as a QRC in 2019. Dana graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation specializing in Disability Sciences from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in 2011. Dana has done volunteer work for the Minnesota Special Olympics, Good Samaritan Society, Ridgeview Medical Center, and Mayo Clinic. In her free time, Dana enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active and watching Minnesota sports.
Cecilia Spannbauer began working for O’Hara and Hunter Consulting as an employment counselor in August 2017. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Stout in 2007. Cecilia has over 10 years of experience specializing in admissions, retention, and training and development within higher education. Additionally, she has experience within human resources and recruiting. Cecilia has a passion for supporting others in obtaining their professional goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time up north at the family cabin with her husband and three children.
Catie Hollander began working for O’Hara & Hunter Consulting, Inc. in December 2014 as a Job Developer. She was licensed as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant Intern in May 2018, and became a fully licensed QRC in 2019. Catie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2014. She then graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology in 2018. Catie became a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) in March of 2018. In her free time, Catie enjoys coaching soccer, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.
Rajna M. Morissette began working for O’Hara and Hunter Consulting, Inc. as a Vocational Evaluation/LTD Specialist in August 2018. Rajna graduated with a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2002. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1998 and has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) since 2002. In 2014, Rajna completed her Disability and Absence Management Certificate through the Insurance Education Association becoming a Certified Professional Disability Manager (CPDM). She has worked in the private sector for over 16 years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor providing services to injured workers. She is also a member of the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC). On weekends, Rajna enjoys spending time at the farm or the lake with her family.
Jolene Martin began working for O’Hara and Hunter Consulting as an Employment Counselor in October of 2018. Jolene graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Human Relations, from St. Cloud State University in 2005. She has over 13 years of experience in Higher Education, including academic advising, retention, admission, training and development, and records management. She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals through employment services and educational assistance. Jolene and her husband have 2 daughters and a dog. They enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, biking and fishing.
Katy Truttman began working for O’Hara and Hunter Consulting, Inc. in 2020. Katy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in the area of Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, Stout in 2004. Katy is a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) and licensed Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC) in Minnesota. She has worked as a QRC since 2005, and has a special interest in Retraining cases, and providing expert testimony. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her large extended family, husband and three children. She has a passion for reading, yoga, and volunteer work. She enjoys traveling, and boating on the river with her family and friends.
Kelley O'Hearn began working for O'Hara and Hunter Consulting Inc., in 2010 as a Job Developer. Kelley graduated with a Master of Arts in the area of Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary's University in 2014. She also obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Specializing in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin- Stout in 2009. She then began working as an Employment Counselor in 2011, where she assists injured workers in getting back into the workforce by either job searching or returning to school for retraining purposes. Kelley helps clients with resume development, job search, and interview skills. Kelley offers vocational testing and exploration to examine opportunities that are a fit in the labor market for her clients. Kelley also has experience working in low income communities and building relationships with resources within the community. In her spare time, Kelley enjoys spending time up north at her family's cabins with her husband, two boys and her dog. She also enjoys cheering on the MN Twins, being active outside and fishing.
Mara Kaplan began working for O’Hara and Hunter Consulting, Inc. as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant Intern (QRC-I) in June 2021, and became fully licensed as a QRC in September 2022. Mara is also a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS). She graduated with an Exercise Physiology Degree with a minor in Health Studies from Iowa State University. Mara has over 20 years of experience in account management and liaison work within the medical field, as well as 3 years in the Human Resources area, and is passionate about helping people. In Mara’s spare time, she loves spending time with her friends and family. Mara and her husband have 4 children and she enjoys watching them play sports, traveling, going to concerts and supporting the Minnesota sports teams.
Kaitlyn M. Peterson began working at O’Hara & Hunter Consulting, Inc. as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant (QRC) in June 2023. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in the area of psychology with a pre-clinical concentration from The University of Wisconsin Stout in May 2023. Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs especially in an outdoor setting participating in activities such as hiking, swimming, and fishing!
Jessica began working as a QRC in 2014. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and earned her Certified Disability Management Specialist qualification in 2016. Jessica is bilingual (English-Spanish) and enjoys providing services to individuals in our diverse workforce. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, climbing, cooking, motorcycling, camping, and hiking with her dog.
Dante began working at O'Hara & Hunter Consulting in 2024 as a QRC Intern. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2016. He became a Qualified Medical Interpreter in 2020, and is fully English-Spanish bilingual. In his free time, Dante is a performing musician and has toured both nationally and internationally with various bands.
